Ratalaika Games and Shinyuden have announced that they’re bringing Kaizō Chōjin Shubibinman to the West for the first time as Cyber Citizen Shockman. Heck. Yes.

Kaizō Chōjin Shubibinman was the first game in the series that started on the PC-Engine in Japan. We received the second game (named Kaizō Chōjin Shubibinman 2) in North America on the Turbografx-16, but no other titles. Renamed Shockman, this second title eventually made it to the Virtual Console.

The Nintendo Switch Isn’t Getting a Price Cut Anytime Soon

Nintendo has no plans to cut the price of its Switch console until April 2024 at the earliest, according to company president Shuntaro Furukawa.

“Currently, there are no plans to reduce the price of our hardware during this fiscal year,” he said during a Q&A session with investors following the release of the entertainment giant’s most recent earnings report.

“On the other hand, while we also have no plans to raise prices, the yen continues to be weak, and procurement costs remain high, so we will continue to monitor the situation carefully.

It Has Begun: Speedrunner Beats Tears of the Kingdom in 94 Minutes

It’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s launch day, and while many players are sitting back, relaxing, and ready to enjoy the dozens of hours of gameplay ahead of them, speedunners are instead looking for ways to break the game.

As reported by VGC, the time trials have officially begun. Zelda speedrunner gymnast86 has already published a video of himself beating Tears of the Kingdom in 94 minutes. Viewer beware, the video naturally contains the biggest of spoilers, but can be viewed over on gymnast86’s YouTube channel for those interested.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: Sorry, You Still Can’t Pet the Dog

In the six years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a Twitter account called “@CanYouPetTheDog” has exploded in popularity simply by cataloging whether or not dogs in various video games are pettable. In Breath of the Wild, unfortunately, the answer was no.

For those who have been excitedly waiting to get their hands on it, the PlayStation VR 2 is now live on Amazon. For $549.99, you’ll be getting the headset (with a 4K HDR screen, a 110-degree field of view, and many more features), alongside two Sense controllers with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Our review of the PSVR 2 awarded it with an incredible 9/10, calling it a “quantum leap over the original PSVR in terms of ease of use, visual quality, and immersion,” and that, “any PlayStation owner who loves VR should upgrade as soon as possible.” Below, you can find the link to Amazon’s website for it.
