New episodes will arrive every other week

Telltale Games is premiering the first episode of The Expanse: A Telltale Series this summer. The first installment will go live on July 27, with more episodes to follow in the weeks after.

The Expanse series will be episodic, with five episodes in total. After the first drops on July 27, each episode will follow two weeks after each other, putting the targeted end date in September.

Game “Preservation”

Mommy’s Best Games has acquired the IPs of “legendary” arcade developer Occidental Design and is wringing them for every last drop of latent cash by releasing the long-lost Bumpy Grumpy on PC.

Occidental Design was the horrifically disfigured lovechild of Baer Sternmidden and William S. Fushnell, who were behind such controversial classics as Rip ‘n’ Tear, Xordian Knot, and Hellbombers.

Tomorrow is a New Dawn

[Update: The official Mortal Kombat Twitter account has cryptically revealed that something will be happening tomorrow, May 18, at 06:00 PT / 09:00 ET / 14:00 BST. One can only assume that NetherRealm Studios is ready to reveal the next title in the Mortal Kombat franchise, rumored to be titled Mortal Kombat 1. The ticking clock teaser was updated to show the face cracking.

Acclaimed roguelite Dead Cells is getting set to bring its compelling and amorphous adventure to your local coffee table, courtesy of a brand new board game currently in production at Le Scorpion Masque.

The Montreal-based studio, which has previously produced board games such as Decrypto, Zombie Kidz, and Stay Cool, launched a Kickstarter for Dead Cells, which will be the company’s first licensed title.

Sony is sharing what’s in store for the PS5 and PS VR2

A new PlayStation Showcase has been scheduled, and it’s airing fairly soon. Sony will host its PlayStation Showcase next week on May 24, with some news to share for both the PlayStation 5 and PS VR2.
