The Entertainment Software Rating Board, or ESRB, has released its rating for Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi RPG Starfield. There’s little surprise that it garnered an M for Mature rating, but it’s the details of this rating that have been fun to read about today.

New Jedi Survivor patch fixes a ton of bugs on all platforms

Jedi Survivor is still trucking along, and now we’re already on patch 4 in just a few scant weeks. Modern game development, ho! This latest patch is due out today on consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X), and “as soon as possible” on PC.

So what does it deal with? Bugs, mainly! This isn’t a content patch, as it’s meant to smooth over some of the rougher edges on all platforms.

Hidden NES gem Gimmick! Special Edition gets July 6 release date

Bitwave Games has announced that Gimmick! Special Edition will be coming to PC and console on July 6, 2023.

Initially released by Sunsoft in Japan in 1992, followed by a very limited release in PAL regions as Mr. Gimmick in 1993, Gimmick! is a game cherished by NES fans who are in the know. The PAL version is among the most expensive NES cartridges on the system and isn’t cheap on the Famicom either. As such, a modern port has been a long time coming.

Do you remember Flash games? I don’t, but a lifetime of self-inflicted concussions will do that to you. For those like myself who only house a big blank space, Flash was an animation platform that some internet denizens would twist to make games.
